The Government of Miss also and endeavoured since 2002 to implement three priorities:
1. To give to the equitable trade a greater visibility.

Such is the object of the decree taken pursuant to the law of August 2, 2005 in favour of the small and medium-size companies. This text was the subject of a dialogue deepened with the main actors of the equitable trade.
Indeed article 60 of the Law of August 2, 2005 on SME announces creation by decree of a “National Commission of equitable trade (CNCE) charged to recognize the natural persons or morals which take care of the respect of the principles of the equitable trade”. Recall of the three pillars of the equitable trade: “I. the equitable trade falls under the national strategy of sustainable development. II. Within the activities of the trade, craft industry and services, the equitable trade organizes exchanges of goods and services between developed countries and handicapped producers located in developing countries. This trade aims to the establishment of durable relations resulting in ' ensuring the economic progress and social of these producers. III. The natural persons or morals which take care of the respect of the conditions defined above are recognized by a commission whose composition, competences and criteria of recognition of the above mentioned people are defined by decree in Council of State. ”
France will be thus the first country developed to have recognized the place and the role of the equitable trade in its commercial rules and to set up, for the benefit of the consumers like producers of the developing countries, a credible guarantee of the good use of name.
3. To work for an international recognition of the equitable trade.
The Government engaged of the steps in favour of a better international recognition of the equitable trade at other European States, the Commission and the Parliament of the European Union and near the World Trade organization.
With these initiatives, France concretely reaffirms its will to put the trade at the service of a more respectful universalization of the identity and wellbeing of each one.
Until the middle of the years 1990, sustainable development seemed a foreign concept with the company. Apart from some Anglo-Saxon militant companies, the hour was with the triumph of the model actionnarial, with a vision reduced to the acquisitions of the responsibility for the company.
